Kevin Crowe

Mr. Crowe serves as the director of grateful patient and family fundraising programs. As an innovative senior executive, he brings expertise in development, communications, non-profit management, health care administration, and hospitality management.

For two years Kevin was the assistant dean for advancement in the college of Nursing at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His areas of responsibility included college communications and marketing, development, and alumni relations. During the twenty years prior to joining UIC, he worked for Advocate Health Care beginning in operations at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois as the systems’ first director of guest & volunteer services. He then moved into leadership roles with the Advocate Charitable Foundation based in Downers Grove, Illinois as the director of planning and resource development and then director of corporate relations. He has led numerous system level culture transformation initiatives to increase patient and associate satisfaction, all while aligning behaviors in a service oriented, patient-centered model.

Kevin holds a bachelor of general studies in organizational management and leadership from North Park University in Chicago and is certified by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.  He is also a certified trainer and facilitator of multiple culture change and operational efficiency programs. He has been active with the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Chicago Chapter for several years as both a board member and chair of the diversity committee.
