Generous gift to St. Joseph’s Foundation of San Joaquin helps cancer patients

(November 2017) - Lynn Cook was an active woman who believed in the positive impact of fitness. She was a patient of St. Joseph’s Cancer Exercise Program and developed great friendships with her fellow patients and therapists. Lynn's husband, Bill, was so grateful for the care and love they received at the cancer center and the exercise program that he decided to make St. Joseph’s Medical Center (SJMC) the beneficiary of their Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust.

This significant gift will have a positive impact for patients at SJMC for decades to come and will help pay for staff, marketing, and new equipment for the Cancer Exercise Program. This would not have been possible if it was not for the wonderful care Lynn and Bill received at St. Joseph’s in the Cancer Center, Pavilion, and Cancer Exercise Program.
