Kevin DugganKevin Duggan is president and CEO of Mercy Foundation, and vice president of philanthropy for the greater Sacramento service area. Prior to this role, he served as chief philanthropy officer at Mercy’s Methodist Hospital, and later vice president of philanthropy for Mercy Foundation before being appointed as president and CEO in March 2012.

Mr. Duggan oversees the philanthropic efforts of all four Dignity Health hospitals in the Sacramento Area, including Mercy General Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Mercy’s Methodist Hospital, and Mercy San Juan Medical Center. In addition, he is responsible for providing philanthropic support to the non-healthcare ministries of the Sisters of Mercy, including ministries focused on education, housing for the homeless, and care for the poor and elderly.

Prior to joining Mercy Foundation, Mr. Duggan served as executive director for the Society for the Blind, where his responsibilities included the oversight of a five-million-dollar capital campaign. He has also served as chief advancement officer for the Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders Institute (M.I.N.D.) where he helped secure  over $50 million in state and private funds.

Mr. Duggan earned both his undergraduate degree and master’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Davis. He lives in Sacramento with his wife and two sons.
