Jessa Brooks headshot Jessa Brooks is the vice president of philanthropy for Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation. Ms. Brooks has worked for Marian Regional Medical Center since 2009. In her role, she leads philanthropic programming to support Marian and its related entities, including Mission Hope Cancer Center, Marian Extended Care Center, and Dignity Home Health and Hospice.

Due to Ms. Brooks’ dedicated efforts, the Marian Foundation’s Innovation magazine is an award-winning publication, earning the 2014 Healthcare Marketing Report Bronze Award, 2013 MarCom Platinum Award, 2013 Bronze ADDY Award, and 2012 MarCom Gold Award. Among her many accomplishments, Ms. Brooks also earned Marian’s esteemed Sister Marilyn Ingram Achievement Award in 2012 for demonstrating an active commitment to the medical center and recognition for her outstanding leadership in the planning and execution of the new hospital’s series of grand opening events and strategic marketing campaign.

Ms. Brooks is a Central Coast native and a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. She is a member of the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals as a member of the San Luis Obispo chapter.
