Martha Annette Feutz was more than a friend of Glendale Memorial Hospital; for 10 years she volunteered her time and valued experience to the Comprehensive Cancer Center Advisory Board. Martha actively advocated for cancer education and community outreach programs.  She encouraged the purchase of leading technology and the development of new services which led to excellence in clinical care for our cancer patients.  An educator, entrepreneur, civic leader, and fundraiser, Martha quietly supported and promoted many charities in the Glendale area.

Upon her passing, Martha split her estate between Occidental College, her alma mater, and Glendale Memorial Hospital, gifting over $600,000 to the Glendale Memorial Health Foundation along with numerous landscape paintings.  The artwork will be displayed around our Glendale Memorial Hospital, with the funds going towards the hospital’s First Impressions Improvement Project– including a renovation of the gift shop which will be named in her honor. Martha Feutz is proudly recognized as one of the Founding Members of the Foundation’s planned giving program, the Louise Lewis Legacy Society.
