Area of Greatest Need

Donors are asked to support where the need is greatest within Dignity Health.  This fund provides the maximum flexibility to our leadership in making an immediate impact when and where the need is greatest.  This fund has been used to support a variety of projects from educational speakers, enhancing organizational aesthetics, and piloting new programs.

Fund managed by: Dignity Health Foundation
Fund supervised by: Fred Najjar, Senior Vice President of Philanthropy, Dignity Health

I am increasingly aware of life’s abundance all around us. At the same time, particularly as a member of the healthcare industry, I am acutely aware of life’s frailty. It is in this dichotomy that I find the motivation to give. There are so many who are in need and there is so much abundance to go around. As stewards over that abundance, it makes sense to me that we should freely give of it, and it has been my own experience that in giving we often cause the abundance to multiply.
