St. Rose Dominican Health Foundation partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to raise $300,138 from sponsors in support of Southern Nevada’s only Children’s Miracle Network hospital, Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican. This generous gift will give children the chance to live healthier lives and help the dedicated staff provide critical treatments, equipment, and care for kids in the community.

To raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Walmart and Sam’s Club host an annual 6-week campaign featuring public events—cook-outs and root beer float sales—as well as employee-based events. This year Walmart and Sam’s Club raised $212,000.

This year, 17 local IHOPs raised over $42,000 during National Pancake Day. Each February or March IHOP serves a free short stack of pancakes in exchange for a donation to St. Rose Dominican, the local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

Locally, Boulder Dam Credit Union, Clark County Credit Unions, West Star, and Silver State Credit Unions raised funds St. Rose Dominican through Miracle Jeans Day, their skip-a-pay loan deferment program, and various other events throughout the year. These events raised over $17,000.

The remaining funds were raised through additional national sponsors such as Marriott International Vacation Club, Ace Hardware, Alex & Ani, Kendra Scott, Re/Max, and the General Mills end-cap displays at retailers, such as CostCo Warehouses.
