Stephanie Weber

Stephanie Weber is the chair of the philanthropy leadership team and vice president of philanthropy of the Friends of Mercy Foundation, and is responsible for raising and administering all charitable contributions made in support of Mercy Hospital and Mercy Southwest Hospital. Ms. Weber has worked for Mercy and the Foundation since 1989.

Ms. Weber is an active member of many community boards and organizations including the Bakersfield Downtown Rotary, Waterman Foundation, the Advisory Council for the Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, Kern County Children’s Health Initiative, and more.  She also currently serves as grants administrator for the Catholic Healthcare West Community Grants program, and is chairman of the CHW Special Needs Advisory Committee that oversees community benefit programs administered by Mercy and Memorial Hospitals.

Ms. Weber graduated magna cum laude from California State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is also a graduate of Leadership Bakersfield.  Ms. Weber and her husband have three children and four grandchildren.
