Peggy Lucas is the vice president of philanthropy for the Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation. In this role, she works to support major gift campaigns that expand the reach and capacity of medical centers throughout the region.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ms. Lucas was executive director of the San Mateo Medical Center Foundation. Previous non-profit work includes executive leadership roles at the Chambers of Commerce in Half Moon Bay, CA, Alexandria, VA, and Oak Brook, IL. She has been professionally recognized as “Influential Woman of the Year” by the Chicago Chapter of the National Assn. of Women Business Owners, and was given the “Distinguished Service Award” by the Illinois Assn of Chamber Executives.

She completed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institutes for Organization Management at Notre Dame University, received a management certification from Indiana University, and was a liberal arts major at the University of California, Berkeley.
