Deborah Klein joined Dignity Health’s St. John’s Healthcare Foundation in 2014 as vice president of philanthropy. In this role, she oversees large gifts, fundraising campaigns, and board management.

Previously, Ms. Klein served as chief development officer for the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, where secured one of the largest gifts in school history. She has also been responsible for leading development efforts at a number of nonprofits, including the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association, California State University, Northridge, and Pepperdine University.

Ms. Klein is a native Californian, with degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles and Hebrew Union College. Her interests include classical music, art exhibitions, swimming, and kayaking.
