Aida Pelton is the manager of philanthropic communications, she serves as a member of the system-wide philanthropy team, and works closely with Dignity Health’s 29 fundraising foundations.

In her role she manages three external websites for Dignity Health Philanthropy and develops the communications strategy for the Dignity Health Foundation, which includes case statements, internal engagement through online platforms, and new media outreach.

Prior to joining Dignity Health, Ms. Pelton worked in public affairs for Blue Shield of California Foundation.  She was responsible for digital communications, website and social media management, email campaigns, and branding.  She was also the liaison between the Foundation and internal communications, working closely to ensure that Blue Shield employees were aware of the Foundation’s latest work.

Ms. Pelton received her bachelor’s degree in recreation & leisure studies with an emphasis on community, nonprofit, and commercial recreation from San Francisco State University. She earned her master’s degree in integrated marketing communications and public relations from Golden Gate University.

Ms. Pelton currently lives in the North Bay with her husband and son, and enjoys being outside, traveling to Napa, and spending time with family.
